Trainings „Practical aspects of work with SIS II and personal data protection”

Today starts the first edition of one-day professional trainings „Practical aspects of work with SIS II and personal data protection”. During the trainings the following topics will be held:
- EU and national regulations related to functioning of SIS II,
- new functionalities and categories of data in SIS II,
- tasks of SIRENE Bureau,
- procedures in respect of SIS II checks,
- security and protection of personal data processed via National IT System (KSI),
- role and tasks of Central Technical Authority of the National IT System (COT KSI).
The trainings are targeted mainly to the policemen who serve as patrolmen on streets and roads and duty officers.
11 editions of trainings will be held in 2014, for 275 persons in total.
