National conference in Gdansk (2015)
On 15-17 April 2015 in Gdansk there is held national conference organized by by the International Co-operation Bureau of National Police Headquarters under project „New challenges for SIS users related to SIS II implementation” co-financed from Norway Grants (2009-2014).
The conference is chaired by Rafal Lysakowski, Director of the International Co-operation Bureau of National Police Headquarter.
The central themes of the conference are legal assistance in driminal matters:
- International cooperation in criminal matters,
- Police channels of exchange of information,
- Legal assistance (within Police competence),
- Prosecution of offenders, combating crime, issueing EAW in case when place of residence is uknown, prosecution of persons outside Schengen area,
- European Juridicial Network in criminal matters,
- European Investigation Order.
In the conference takes part 50 persons in total.
The next conference organized under project „New challenges for SIS users related to SIS II implementation” will be the international conference. It will be held in Wroclaw on 06-08 May 2015. It’s main theme will be alerts issued pursuant to art. 26 of Decision 533/2007.
