National conference in Kielce (2015) - National conferences - Policja.pl

On 01-03 June 2015 in Kielce (PL) there is held subsequent national conference organized by  the International Co-operation Bureau of National Police Headquarters under project „New challenges for SIS users related to SIS II implementation” co-financed from Norway Grants (2009-2014). It is the sixth conference (fourth national conference) related to SIS II functioning which can be held due to financial support for the project.

The conference in Kielce was opened by nadinsp. Miroslaw Schossler, 1^st Vice Commander in Chief of the Police, responsible for criminal unit.

In conference take part 70 participants:

• Vice Police Commanders in Chief of the Regional Police Headquarters,
• Heads of the Criminal Intelligence Units,
• Commander in Chief / Vice commander in Chief of the Central Investigation Bureau of the Police,
• Heads of Regional Headquarters of the Central Investigation Bureau of the Police,
• representatives of the Police Academy in Szczytno,
• representatives of the Police Academy in Pila,
• Director of the Criminal Service Bureau of National Police Headquarters,
• Director of the International Co-operation Bureau of National Police Headquarters,
• police officers and workers of the International Co-operation Bureau of National Police Headquarters (SIRENE Bureau).

The conference is dedicated to usage of SIS and other channels of information exchange by the Police, including practical aspects of work with SIS II.

The aim of the conference is to put forward issues related to usage of available channels of international information exchange, with the highlight of the importance of SIS II, as well as Interpol and Europol in the international searches of persons and objects. These topics are presented by the experts from the International Co-operation Bureau of National Police Headquarters (SIRENE section, Interpol section, Europol section).

The next national conference under project „New challenges for SIS users related to SIS II implementation” will be held in Torun (PL) on 08-10 July 2015. It will be dedicated to the system of SIS trainings.
